Bambosh & Brimborion New!

Find out how two best friends decided to make a comic book about two best friends as those initial two best friends were just bitching about how mundane and repetitive life is and then decided to make a comic book about how mundane and repetitive life is. Let's go on a journey of discovery like you've surely seen before. Introductions, first:

Pierre Paquette - The Greatest Cartoonist in the Universe

Hello, you don't know me, I'm Pierre and I'm a cartoonist. Over the years I have written, drawn and using the dreaded Slop Machine, generated images for the purpose of making some of the worst sequential "art" you have never seen. This time, I have teamed up with my best friend to make yet another dreaded comic book to torture poor unsuspecting "fans" with an entry so strange that it will leave them scratching their heads and wonder why they wasted their time trying to make sense of a senseless proposition. YOU could be one of these people if you dare read this website all the way down until you have convinced yourself that you are now a fan of our ridiculous universe of trendy bums who spend all of their time pursuing simple pleasures in an attempt to fill their existence with meaning. And now, meet Jimbo, the other half of this mind control experiment.

Jimbo the Human

Ever meet one of those people you can't wait to forget? That's James PM Gaffney. From humble beginnings to a humbler future, Uncle Jimbo™ (as he's known to a few people) is easily one of the world's most forgettable designers. He's so forgettable that he's attempting to write this in third person, but he keeps forgetting who you were talking about. He's a artist or something, yeah? Name starts with a James P... OH! Oh. Pierre - that's right. He was talking about Pierre. Pierre is a good dude who provides effective therapeutic services through comic malfeasance that he will occasionally bring that other guy in on. Wait... we're talking about James? I didn't get that memo. Oh, well. James is Pierre's friend and his biggest fan. He... wait... what does James do again? James who? THAT GUY. Right. Sorry - I just can't keep it straight. James did some stuff in this book.

SO! One day Pierre had just finished a comic book project and was planning to take a long break and was goofing off on the Web looking up silly words as he often does because English is not his mother tongue, but having grown up in Canada surrounded by anglos, he didn't want to be ridiculed for his lack of vocabulary, therefore he's constantly researching the etimology of English words and their origins. Upon looking up old words that meant "nonsense" he came across two that he really liked. Bambosh - a slang term primarily meaning "humbug" or "deceptive nonsense" and Brimborion - refers to worthless talk, foolish ideas, or trivial chatter that holds absolutely no value and he thought to himself, "That's two guys right there and they're troublemakers for sure."

Bambosh & Brimborion Origin

Dashing off two characters quickly to show to Jimbo to make him laugh as per usual, Pierre thought that this could be a project that they create together and they started going back and forth about scenarios and the people they have met in their journeys on social media and how they could create more characters that parody friends, ex-friends and loathsome enemies that they have accumulated throughout the years to populate a world that is at once familiar and also a little absurd. While the stories in this work are surely improbable, they are actually not impossible and if you're twisted like Pierre and Jimbo, they are absolutely true unless you think you're in this book, then they're not true and that's not you unless we asked you if you wanted to be in the book and that's an honor for you for sure, but you're not getting paid.

THE SWITCH FROM VECTOR TO GENERATED IMAGES

While Pierre was working on the pages, he was also testing a new website made by his wife that offers image generation tools and at one point he wondered how the characters would look like if they were less cartoony and more photo realistic and even tho he had already created 27 pages of vector graphics along with Jimbo, he proposed that they should keep the text, but change the style.
